Most SoftMaple dogs go to loving companion homes, or to personal hunting homes
and are never shown. Titles do not make the dog or make a dog great. We are more interested in producing healthy cherished
companions than having our primary goal to put letters before a dog's name. We do encourage people to do performance activities
with their dogs. We believe a dog should be mentally challenged and stimulated. If your puppy is not given a "Job"
to do, he will find other ways to occupy his time! Sometimes people get hooked on an activity and go on to compete. This
can be a great way to bond with your dog. Thanks go out to all the dedicated owners and trainers who have put titles on
SoftMaple dogs. Even if the title is CPE (Couch Potato Excellent!) Here is a list of some of our curlies we have
owned or bred that have gone on to earn titles in the showring, obedience ring, agility ring or in the field.
